Sir Elviwes, we have many comics still available including Grips, but we do not ship to Canada. Unfortunately, we have had far too many issues with shipping there. We apologize for the inconvenience. You are welcome to peruse our site for fun products including Grips.

Kris, I am launching my first comic book next week on Kickstarter. Having been a long time fan of your books, I wanted to thank you for inspiring me to move forward with this endeavor. The book, 'Sissonne', will be dedicated to you and all the artists who made Silverwolf and Greater Mercury happen. I wanted you to know. Thank you.

No, Skinny... We're just bogged down with everything.... My father passed away last year and his estate is a mess.... The move was terrible... and the remaining work is still overwhelming. I have been writing and I will be making new inroads, here, soon... I apologize for the wait, but some things cannot be helped. If only I did not need sleep and there were more hours in the day!

Indeed! Everything is coming to a head, finally. We are all suffering from the flu and persistent colds, but we're muddling through as is the rest of the world, I am sure! We wanted to get some of the special things on that we have found for the weekend, but, more, we just wanted to crawl under blankets and check out for the week. Until later! Stay well, everyone!

Sorry that we have not been as talkative lately. Being down for most of the last three or so weeks has put us in a position to work harder with the products themselves since we have had time. Now that I am back in front of the computer, we are pushing to get some projects completed. In fact, I am taking a minor break from finishing off a chapter of 'Vengeance Quest' to touch bases with everyone.

I think you forgot to mention the "Islands in the Sun" Lunch tale amongst your 'new releases' update. Also I seem to be one of those who got a 'Test printing' version of the "A Sense of Evil" book (a bunch of typographical errors within the first several pages it seems).

Hey, hey Guys... we're here.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-05-09 11:33:38

I am not certain I have the original B&W of that cover, but I would suspect that Mr. Cobbs would have made a copy of it then did the painting. Incidentally, it's water color. Anyway, the reason I suspect this, is because if he made an error, he would otherwise have to begin from scratch with the pen and inks and that would be annoying! It is 11" x 17" though and that is very nice. It would look good behind glass in a nice frame.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-05-09 11:14:58

Is the #8 color cover the original art with color or a stat/copy that has been colored?

~Moby's!

Just got my "Assassin Force Collector's Set" and the Doran Fish Dark Assassin page featuring Nightmaster. Great stuff! I am very happy I got the Fish artwork because I REALLY liked his art (Back in the day) and also there are not many original art pieces that feature Nightmaster.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-21 20:38:25

No problem, OJ! This site isn't all about selling stuff. I do what I can to make people happy. The fact is, we have been discussing that very thing about our big online game project: it cannot be driven by the lust for money.... It MUST be driven by the desire to make a good game. If we build it.... and so on and so on. The point is, if we build the game, or the site, or whatever, because we want to, everything else will fall into place. Maybe not as quickly as some might like, but it'll happen.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-21 20:32:20

Hey, hey, guys and dolls.... Hope you've all had a fine and productive day. We're whipped, but have gotten some good stuff done. For me, it was all about research, equipment tweaking and learning, and product/equipment testing. But, we fill good although I nearly dropped our new, commercial scanner.... Ouch!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-20 22:15:52

Kris, thanks so much for the awesome gifts! You are the man! I can't believe how awesome my SW/GMC collection has become even though Bill C's is probably better than mine. Anyway, thanks again and I'm looking forward to more new/old merchandise being added on Fridays.

~OJ

hl

2015-04-20 17:01:57

The last sentence of the last blog post has me wondering if I should be budgeting this week's check accordingly? But at any rate, I hope the printer comes in- although I personally don't mind the pictures or scans that have been put up so far.

~Bill C

hl

2015-04-17 19:04:01

As mentioned in the news, we have grown tired of fartin' with the original art pages and the camera, so we ordered a large, flatbed scanner. We were hopin' it would arrive today, but it didn't. So, let's hope it's here by Thursday of next week so we can get some good images of some of the available artwork for next Friday. That would be fun and it would be exciting for some of you folks waiting on some very specific artwork.... Yeahhhhh... I listen....

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-17 19:00:42

Looks as if it is working as expected!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-17 18:56:54

So, all of us are now waiting with baited breath (who baits their breath and wouldn't that smell atrocious???) for 7pm to see what happens... refresh... refresh.... refresh.... (Oh, I have to fix that crap!).... refresh...

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-17 18:54:52

Another thing is, the items being listed will come up at exactly 7pm PST as will the news message depicting which items, so no more waiting on my lazy butt!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-17 18:53:27

[To Bill] Thanks, Bill! Yeah, scripts should have been next, but we've been swamped! I want to get them onto the site, but have to be careful which ones I put up and when! Some things are going to be special. A good example is the Grips #7, #8, #9 combo I put up previously! ...Especially since... Oh, that would be spoiling the surprise!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-17 18:50:43

Hey, hey guys... We're working on the new automated system that allows us to put items up for Friday night during the previous week or so. This makes certain you guys have cool stuff for the Friday night fun hour. After all, we do live in snow country and can lose power at any time! Besides, we cannot always be here to make certain things get on in a timely manner. So, tonight is the acid test though we will be here!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-17 18:01:38

BTW, happy 3 month anniversary on the launch of the site! Time flies. Lots of fun stuff has happened in that short time.

~Bill C

hl

2015-04-17 17:59:25

Any hints on the menu for tonight? Now that the fliers are up, were scripts still next on the chopping block?

~Bill C

hl

2015-04-17 15:17:20

Welcome to our community, Dee!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-14 22:25:35

[TO BILL] Although the dates cross, the novelettes were never part of GMC. They were the continuation of my personal projects and, therefore, technically, actually a continuation of Silver Wolf.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-14 22:23:30

We are looking at releasing CC#1 in color as soon as a new, higher quality, larger format, scanner arrives. Of course, we have to format the mag and print it... but "soon" would be the most accurate answer.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-04-14 20:29:42

Kris- I seem to remember the first GM comic was Grips Adventures #1, which came out in May 1989 IIRC. I was just looking through Grips Future Tense #1 (1st printing), and it states it is from GM Comics and is dated February 1989. Was THIS the first GM publication?

[TO OJ] Yeah, I had forgotten all about those until I saw it. Well, now I'll forget again! LOL. I have some more items of interest that will go up next week. I just ran out of time. One of the items is the GMC Ashcan of the Grips #1 Special printing. Nice stuff. Nice and rare.

~Dadsilver

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-25 23:50:35

Kris- Awesome! Thank you so much for putting the books aside for me. Like Bill, I promise to keep the books and store them with my other SW and GMC collectibles. As usual looking forward to the new/old merchandise Friday night.

~OJ

hl

2015-03-25 15:08:54

[To Bill] No, the novelettes are yours. I just did not have them edited back then. The books (trilogy) has been rewritten, edited, and will be coming out in two other formats... As for the script: that is how I used to put them together, originally, until I got the Velobinder.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-25 15:04:21

If you would rather I not show anyone the novelette I could do that. It'll get looked at and tucked away like at the end of Raiders of the Lost Ark. I have a question on the Grips Adventures #2 script- it has a red overlay with white plastic running down the spine. Was this something that was put on the script years back or just added now to provide some extra protection in shipping?

~Bill C

hl

2015-03-25 14:56:48

[To Bill & OJ] It's not that I want those things out there, but a few are anyway. The 'New' VERSIONS will be sooooo much more exciting. I figured I would give away those few especially since I had exactly what I would have wanted to be able to give to each of you.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-25 14:52:07

Holy cow Kris, thanks! That is very cool. My next order will likely be placed tomorrow actually- a certain something should be getting paid off then! Three guesses as to what that is :)

~Bill C

hl

2015-03-25 13:52:19

[To Bill & OJ} So, on your next orders, I will include them.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-25 13:50:48

[To Bill & OJ] I was looking through what was left of my special stuff after destroying the novellettes and found a handful more including the Future Tense #1 Gold (NFS) copy. I pulled it. Bill, you will get that one. OJ, I found that I had..... a gold part three left.... a part four.... a part five.... and, alas! I found a part six!!!! You will get those. And to the community in general, at least part 6 of Future Tense was released!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-25 13:22:59

Same thoughts here Bill. I was temporarily excited to read about a Gold Edition and a #5 only to read that those too were destroyed. I guess I'm lucky to have issues 1-3 as Future Tense novelettes are nearly impossible to find.

~OJ

hl

2015-03-24 07:30:31

Yahoo elected to start sending your emails to the spam folder (I have corrected this now) but I got it now Momma Silver :). Non-business stuff...let's see. Have you guys thought about setting up an actual message board forum for posting in? The reason I ask is because this would allow for so much more flexibility in what we post, such as posting fan art or, for those into it(I am not) fan fiction, not to mention using BBCode or HTML tags to italicize or embolden words etc.

~Skinny Ninja

~MommaSilver

2015-03-23 17:51:12

~Bill C

hl

2015-03-23 15:50:12

[To OJ] A bit of information for you.... We were going through some of my personal collector items from the old Silver Wolf items and, among other VERY interesting items (to be delved into more extensively Friday), I found some copies of the gold editions of Future Tense #1 as well as a cross section of many other novelettes I produced INCLUDING Future Tense #5! They have all now been destroyed as well, but the point is that up to #5 was produced.

~Dadsilver

I thought you might like to know I've finished reading the 'Inventor' lunch tale. Just kept in with me and read a few pages whenever I found myself waiting in a line, etc. I enjoyed it very much. Was there more to that story?

~Moby's!

hl

2015-03-22 07:01:42

I see, thanks. I was just unclear on whether the trickle was a planned thing or not. Definitely looking forward to the new stuff, and still looking for the old as well :)

~Moby's!

hl

2015-03-21 22:43:12

In addition, it is not our desire to simply become a back order warehouse for SWC & GMC. We enjoy producing new items and we devote most of our time to that end. I hope you can understand our desire to move forward as it is a difficult process. It requires some transition products to be developed first while also creating and producing our new items. We want to enjoy and remain enthused about the new Silver Wolf products for decades to come.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-21 22:41:06

We do spread out the items so that there isn't an overwhelming amount of work for us to do every week processing items. And, we do not want to overwhelm the site with everything all at once, otherwise, that part of the week will become stagnant and unexciting for both you guys and us. More importantly, we have to locate (pronounced 'stumble across') the items as well!!!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-21 15:42:37

Is this trickle of a handful of items every week going to continue indefinitely, or will you just put up what you have for sale sometime soon?

~Moby's!

hl

2015-03-20 20:15:59

Hey, hey.... we have so much stuff to process that is not related to Silver Wolf that if you guys collect other companies and titles, please let us know and we'll get what we have up in the comic shop section. The same goes for board games, RPGs, even CCGs. It's all got to go so we can focus on Silver Wolf.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-18 15:24:20

I must have bagged, boarded and stuck it in a comic box somewhere then.I will hunt it down. Thanks.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-18 12:34:25

Yes, those two items did go together. I'd hate to think it is still in the envelope even though those envelopes are rather rigid!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-18 08:02:54

Hey Kris, did you ever send that Grips Premier #1 w/discoloration damage (#301/350)? I don't recall getting it (should have come with that Crimson Cougar cover mock-up I got, which I did receive) and the only Grips premier I seem to have is a #161/350 with no discoloration damage. It is possible I did get it but somehow blindly stuck it somewhere but I don't recall ever seeing it.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-13 19:02:03

Hey, there is a low-cost piece of artwork in the original artwork section for those of you who are looking to get your hands on a piece of art without breaking the bank!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-13 10:35:45

[TO SKINNY] Indeed, that's why we keep working forward. We're turning water into wine over this situation, though. The new system we're considering is sweet!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-13 10:33:26

[TO MOBY] Okay, Moby, you trump us! Coffee machine down??? That's just sacrilege!!!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-13 00:31:07

Wow.My day seems to have gone way better than yours. I sold a couple Star Wars bobbleheads for $300 which I paid about $30 for a few years ago. Shame about your printer issues, but it will all work out in the end, I am sure.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-13 00:12:48

Not just you. Getting cut off in traffic, lost the wallet for an hour, coffee machine broken at resteraunt...one of those days.

~Moby's!

hl

2015-03-12 22:04:15

Exactly the same as yours dear. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-12 20:30:13

So, how was your day everybody?

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-12 20:29:46

So, we loaded her up and got ready to spit out some covers so we could bind, pack and ship. Our back-up printer said KA-BAM! Our hands became quickly covered in ink. I think it will be several days before we can get them clean. All I can say is that it is time to sit and have coffee and think things over. It's not that the printers/copiers whupped us. No, we just have to keep going. We'll have a brand new system in about a week... It'll be better, faster, more reliable and brand new.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-12 20:25:58

First bad thing: the wrong image had replaced an older image we wanted to upgrade so we couldn't print. That wasn't so bad. Just had to make a run home and collect the right image (which is where it had been worked on). Second bad thing? Our main Canon color copier (for covers and portfolios) was toast. Made the big decision to send it to the big copier heaven in the sky and invest in a big new machine. No problem, we had just received our ink supply for our back-up 11"x 17" color printer.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-12 20:21:53

Have you guys ever had one of those days? You know, where everything really does seem to go wrong? We went into the shop, happy, made our last double edit changes and felt great. The guts are printed for Assassin Force #1, Nightmaster. We were ready to print our covers. Had even gone into the city yesterday and purchased some great cover stock (fancy paper).

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-10 23:18:55

Yes and more... and thanx moby!

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-10 23:15:47

Are/will series 2 and 3 of the lunch tales also be available? And congrats on the first of the continuations!

Sounds great Bill! =)

~MommaSilver

hl

~Bill C

hl

2015-03-10 20:07:59

It is appearing now. Was weird though as I had refreshed a dozen times before and nothing.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-10 20:07:07

There is, also, the option of buying it off of the home page in the spotlight section. I hope that helps Skinny. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-10 20:04:41

I see it right below Art series #2 in the SW comics section... Did you refresh?

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-10 20:02:35

Uh...appears to be a mistake. No Assassin Force #1: Nightmaster listed in either the SW Comics section or the GMC Comics.

~Skinny Ninja

Can't wait to see what you think OJ. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

~OJ

hl

2015-03-10 19:08:30

We are here and the item is up where it should be! Can you guys find it before we post where it is? =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-10 18:53:29

Er...Roman MORALES III on that previous one.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-10 15:33:49

Okay I am here. You can go ahead and put that new Nightmaster thing up for me to buy. The rest of those guys can catch up later.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-07 07:02:00

Oooohhh...ominous portents! Yeah I somehow have a thing for books and portfolios drawn by Roman Morels III, with Assassin Force #2 being of particular interest to me. I also have a unique "Lynch Mob" portfolio prototype from CHAOS! Comics (pretty sure it was the only one made).

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-03-06 22:23:27

Smart purchase Skinny... You will see why very soon! =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-01 14:53:53

All novelettes have been destroyed. All other stories will be released in other publications... A few here and there got out but not enough to be concerned about. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-03-01 14:49:48

Not to keep asking about the novelettes but curious if the non-Grips ones solicited in the issues of the various GMC's were published and if they'll be available at some point for purchase or were those destroyed as well? Thanks!

~OJ

hl

2015-03-01 12:11:00

We're sorry to hear that, Skinny. Your presence was thoroughly missed. I hope to see you there at the next interview.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-03-01 04:14:48

Sorry I missed the interview. Had a bad case of food poisoning the last few days (still getting over it now). At least I can read through it now though to see some questions answered.

~Skinny Ninja

~Dadsilver

GMC Psyho-Path it'll be then!

~Dadsilver

hl

I'll take the Grips adventures #2 script- it cant add to my cart for some reason. help! :)

~Bill C

2015-02-27 19:23:48

[TO BILL] Yes.

What do you have in mind, sir?

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-27 19:02:34

Will you do time payments on the Vigil Grips cover?

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-24 13:33:07

[TO FLC] I'll be back on later. It's nice to finally connect with you again!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-23 14:22:24

This Saturday's interview subject has got to be one of the best topics I could imagine. I can't wait until Saturday and I'll likely be armed with several questions.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-22 23:39:26

The Silver Quill Double Plus magazines that got back ordered are ready and are being packed right now for shipment tomorrow! Share & Enjoy =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-22 15:09:16

...so is there any way a character that gets killed off in the Silverwolf Grips comic continuation could be named after me (first/last name)? Let me know what it would take! I think that would be really fun, as that was the comic that really got me into Silverwolf and GMC :)

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-22 14:26:01

Nice- I'll have to pick that up as I'm curious what these will look like. I'm assuming it will be #3 from the Silverwolf series (?). Kinda excited about this one.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-22 14:16:21

Dad says "Indeed." =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-22 14:12:23

Oh, very cool! IIRC, a hint about a Nightmaster comic continuation was given a few weeks ago.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-22 14:02:46

Actually, I'll be working almost exclusively on the project to polish it off in the next few days. So, it should be available soon. We tested our main piece of production equipment, again, last night. Things look good, so we are ready to push forward. We have another printer to test with our products so we will do that in a few days. More on that later of course.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-22 14:00:07

Damn Skinny! You're on that! We barely put that up there lol =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-22 13:59:54

Nightmaster is in it! LOL

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-22 13:58:39

Hehe. I had to grab that discolored Grips Premier #1 and that Crimson Cougar mock-up cover. Any chance you could give us a hint about this new Nightmaster product you are counting down?

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-21 23:32:06

Good to see you around, Iggy! Say 'Hi' once in awhile!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-21 23:18:44

[TO SKINNY] Hey, that is a great find, actually. It is the only production of that book that is clean. I am hoping to find the other one, but so far, no luck.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-21 16:56:25

Just got my Grips Special #1 Preview copy. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite possessions. Thanks a ton!

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-21 11:28:05

It's important to realize that the original art I sell is a choice I make to either keep it or sell it. Some pieces, I am not so willing to sell, so in order to make them available, I have to decide at what price I would be willing to sell them for. The latest two pieces are prime examples of that. On the other hand, I want the community to be able to purchase some fun things, so it is a difficult choice sometimes, but that is where cost comes into play.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-20 21:11:04

[TO BILL] I will look closer for yours. I might have just missed them. If they exist, I will just include them in one of your next orders. I wouldn't charge for that... it would be kinda silly.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-20 21:07:40

Thanks for the info Kris. With the one storage space searched, did any of Vigil's Grips art pop up by chance? BTW, if the member file found was mine, I might be willing to buy my letters (published in the columns) back, lol.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-20 20:51:28

[TO BILL] Usually one went to the artist and one was a reference copy. I don't recall there being more than two of any script though there could be, for special circumstances, I suppose. But, I do not recall such a case.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-20 20:48:15

Cool offerings tonight! I snagged a couple :)

~iggy

hl

2015-02-20 20:46:11

Very cool that you found an old file for a current member! Some tempting stuff went up today. Concerning the scripts- are all the ones you did in the artists hands, or did you print extra copies?

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-20 20:30:24

I hope everyone is finding something they enjoy. I was surprised at the odd things I was finding in the files: including a file for someone who is a member on here now! It was nice to see that someone from over twenty-five years ago is still active in my little corner of the world.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-19 19:29:48

We are expecting the new supplies tomorrow (we'd hoped for them today), and then we'll be able to either ship immediately or know exactly when we'll be shipping. Either way, we'll update that tomorrow evening.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-19 19:26:25

Hey do you have an ETA on those Silver Quill Double Plus mags (IIRC you said they were on backorder)?? I like to keep an eye out for the mail person when I am expecting books because they like to drop things on my doorstep then drop heavy boxes on top of them, unless I am reaching out of the door to get them.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-14 22:18:03

SWC/GMC/SWC2 history is definitely on the to do list! =)

I think the Christmas analogy is spot on. I know I look forward to every Friday here, wondering if this is the day one of those key wants has been found and put online...

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-14 18:07:47

Makes it Christmas all the time around here when we make people happy!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 18:02:38

Just got the Grips art, SW Bulletins and GMC Co. Newsletters. Thanks a ton! Very interesting stuff...

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-14 17:17:36

Well, I enjoy making comics, but the stress is not worth it and it's downright thankless in the case of some people. I am amazed at some of what I see online that is downright negative and unbelievably slanderous. Still, There are so many more people that have gotten some joy out of what I produce and that is why I do it. It is all very fulfilling and what's better than that?

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 17:01:18

Seeing all this GMC stuff for the first time that you produced like the Dealer Books, newsletters, submission books, new artists & projects, ashcans, foam displays, pre-release books, etc makes me realize how crazy busy you must've been. That doesn't include writing the books, coordinating artists & paying bills. Very impressive to say the least. No wonder you must be content with just writing your stories and not producing them as comics. Way too much work when it's a small operation.

~OJ

hl

2015-02-14 15:51:03

The nice thing about all this miscellaneous stuff is that it is finally getting organized, even peripherally, on this site. It'll be good for the new indexes we have planned.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 15:49:48

May to October sounds good, but I cannot be absolutely positive. I think that might be right, but to be quite frank, I was surprised that there were more made than the ones in May. I recall those. I don't really recall the others that well. They came as a mild surprise. I had a lot going on then, so God knows what I was doing on the incidental side. It has been a blast seeing all this stuff though.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 15:46:19

You listed three different Dealer Books with the earliest one dated May and the latest one is October. Were the Dealer Books produced on a monthly basis and was October the last month one was produced?

~OJ

hl

2015-02-14 15:46:00

Besides, I still have a large cup of coffee to deplete!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 15:44:48

Everyday there is work for me to do someplace: either at the shop working hard building, deconstructing, or moving merchandise; or programming here, at home; or working on the production of new products at the shop; or writing here at home. Today, I decided to program, not only programming, but working, specifically on City Terminators. It's kind of my way of totally relaxing. Well, I say relaxing, but it's more like actively doing nothing. Well, I say doing nothing but......

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 15:37:09

[TO SKINNY] I am not sure where that site is cached. It will take some looking into. I have plenty on my plate as it is for the moment, however. As for Edge #9's, I suspect they are still in the southern storage facility. Once we get this place organized, we will take it another step and prepare it for receiving all the merchandise from down south. That will be a two day excursion. Then, finally, we can have an accurate count of everything that exists under my wings.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 15:06:40

Continued... 2) Do you really think you sold out of all of those Edge #9 (and similar books you had a lot of before but none of now) or are they just currently missing?

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-14 15:04:17

Was just looking at the old site (kristophersilver.com), which is still up BTW and noticing all of the inventory I missed getting before. I know this site is now several years out of date but it had listed, not only novels and collections such as SW Herald, Lunch Tales etc but also comics like GMC Edge #9 (more than 100 copies according to that site). 1) Do you have and plan to release any of the items listed at the old site (obviously Silver Quill DP+ replaces some of these)? and TBC...

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-14 12:20:02

NICE! Take THAT Bill C., Moby's and everyone else who beats me to getting stuff!

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-14 10:19:17

Yes, it is... although I think there should be a second one somewhere, but I have not run across it yet. While I was putting it on, I was thinking those exact thoughts!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-14 01:07:07

Hey, I ordered your ashcan/preview copy of Grips Special #1 (Roman Morales III artwork) and I have a question: The regular release of this issue of course had the infamous advert bleed over onto the story pages in the middle of the book (IIRC). Does this ashcan preview copy have that same problem or is it the only 'clean' copy of this issue in existence?

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-13 19:31:54

I see, thanks.

~MommaSilver

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-10 17:26:21

Kris- I got to thinking after seeing the promo/stand up display item posted yesterday- I think it would be fantastic if you could upload photos of your shop (and you of course in it) from the era that the Silverwolf books, and later GMC books, were coming out. That would be fun to see! Would be very interesting to check out the store as it was.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-10 16:54:32

Skinny Ninja- lol, that one I didnt actually go after. If it was listed Friday I didnt go for anything due to big difficulty getting on the site (for me anyway). I'm actually interested in some pretty specific stuff at this point- I've got a relatively lean and mean wantlist lol! I think it's cool that there are a number of us hungry collectors, there's room to share imo

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-10 16:13:20

They will auto list at 7pst. Chomping at the bit huh? =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-10 16:11:30

As I feared. Oh well, maybe next time (*Shakes fist at Bill C., Moby's and the rest of you*). Buttons still aren't showing up in the 'Paraphenilia'/'buttons' section BTW.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-10 15:16:56

Actually that item was bought immediately by a few people. The return page was being buggy and allowed it. But that showed me the bug and that was a positive thing! We were just talking about how nice it will be to have the shop organized so we can go through stacks of files... artwork... and miscellaneous boxes to see what further treasures we uncover! The foam core things were awesome to find!

How did I miss out on that Fred Cooper GMC item with the Crimson Cougar #2 cover? I thought I had gotten in there first and pulled a coup! Guess someone else beat me to it?

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-10 14:03:05

To those of you who ordered the retailer books with Fred Cooper's artwork and pen marks on the covers: We were able to remove the pen marks from the covers! Woo-hoo!

Oh and I know I said before I was going to try to stop doing fragmented orders of a few items here then minutes later getting a few more items etc.. But this time I have an excuse! I was helping to test the new cart... *Looks back and forth between squinted eyes at everyone else*

~Skinny Ninja

Sounds totally reasonable, no need to travel in real bad weather if you don't need to. I'm in Western New York, so believe me I know the drill. Heh.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-07 16:29:40

Turns out the weather is too icky right now and we would have to drive up in elevation to get to where the art is. (Don't want to get any artwork wet!) We were hoping that the weather would let up a bit because Kris and I really wanted to get some more art on but doesn't look like that will be happening today. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-07 16:22:59

Since you asked- my vote is for more artwork being posted! If it's one of the select pieces I'm looking for, I'll likely be on it. Thanks

Yes the Fredrick Cooper GMC bulletin thing is still in my cart. The Grips art page is not because I deleted it manually.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-06 21:18:31

We found what appears to have been the problem with the Paypal return page. 1 LETTER WAS CAPPED! lol =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-06 21:01:47

BTW Is that item still in your cart?

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-06 20:58:21

Thank you Skinny! That is very important. That page that Paypal sends you back to is supposed to clear the cart and change the quantities for the rest of the site. Kris is on it NOW! =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-06 20:51:19

Still lots of bugs with your cart and such. I ordered the Pete Ayala Grips page first just to test my hypothesis about my password, then the 'Sending you back to Silver Wolf' (from Paypal) thing sent me to a 404 error (had to manually enter the url to get back here). Then when I got back here I saw your update about the GMC bulletin thing with the Fred Cooper art for Crimson Cougar #2 and when I went to order it the Pete Ayala Grips page was still in my shopping cart...

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-06 20:41:51

Never mind my email Kris. I had a hunch and seem to have figured it out now. My password got changed during the mess is all.

Hey Bill, did you put in your pass-code in once or twice?

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-06 18:34:40

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-02-06 16:40:51

So, we are having a really windy and wet storm right now. This means we may lose power. If that happens then nothing will be able to be listed tonight but before we give up (if the power ever goes out) we will try going to our shop for power to put stuff on. This is just worst case scenario and we will keep everyone updated as much as we can. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I received my Grips portfolio #3 today, looks great! Thanks a million.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-05 19:46:25

No, I am afraid we no longer have a brick & mortar storefront. It's a closed operation. Keeps us relaxed and focused. Besides, we work at all hours. I am certain many of you have followed our late night, news entries, so you already know that we are night owls!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-03 20:31:59

When you say shop, is this a storefront open to the public? At any rate- all the organizing and listing is a lot of work, but it'll likely feel good to get rid of (literally) tons of items.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-03 19:30:45

As soon as we get the shop re-organized, I can get back to work on some of these creative products. Though, I have to admit, having the shop finished will give both of us some well-deserved rest and free (ha!) time.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-03 19:27:37

It IS interesting, OJ. At the moment, however, we have precious little time for doing so. We are spending most of our time getting everything re-organized. We're building storage racks, tearing apart old fixtures and getting rid of them, even building a new game testing table. It's all good, but very time consuming. On the other hand, I am seemingly spending all remaining time working on some of the coding for this site. And, thirdly, I am trying to polish off a few of these creative products.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-03 18:37:24

I'm not asking but wanted to say how much fun it would be to help you go throw all the stuff you've pulled out of storage. To see firsthand some of the history behind SW and GMC would be awesome. I'm sure it's tiring and time consuming but the positive and even negative memories it brings back must be pretty cool. For me, you reviving the website and listing old items has brought me back to when I was a teenager. It's been tons of fun and I'm looking forward to Friday night's items.

~OJ

hl

2015-02-02 23:57:19

Oh forgot to say, I got my second order today and all looks good. Thanks a bunch. Now I await my Fat Ninja and Eradicators portfolios. In the future I will try to get all I need in one order instead of several smaller orders (because I was too quick to hit the 'Order' button before looking at all the items).

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-02 23:24:50

I would love to see Grips #6, Nightmaster #2, Edge #3 and such published as single issues rather than serialized in an anthology (GMC Action) but I think you said something about that being unlikely (or maybe this was the off topic question I tried to ask during the interview? My memory sucks.).

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-02 16:39:12

Random thought: it would be cool to see Silverwolf's Grips #5 and 6 published with a retro look, so that they could blend right in to people's collections of #1-4

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-02 12:24:59

That is an item (ERADICATORS TPB) yet to be re-addressed. I'll update that when I can. Some of the unpublished Silver Wolf items will be the subject of one of the next interviews.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-02 11:23:17

I was just now reading through some of the last comics published by GMC and was reminded of the ads for "GMC Collections #4: The Eradicators" which said "On Sale Now!" and was also offered for purchase on the back page order forms in those last GMC issues such as Legion X-2 #8. I am fairly certain I already know the answer to this but were these ever actually produced or is there any way they may be made available? This probably falls along the same lines as the "Secret Files of S.O.U.R.C.E." an

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-02-01 20:51:39

Thank you for the offer, Bill. Depending on my arrangements for art use, I will keep that in mind.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-02-01 16:45:16

Concerning comic continuations- I know the legality of using unpublished art on the covers was touched on. As far as using previously published images as cover art, I have the original art to the covers of (GMC) Edge #1 and (GMC) Dark Assassin #1- among other cool items. If you want to use any of those images for their respective titles I can always send hi-res scans. Just thought I'd throw that option out there.

~Bill C

hl

2015-02-01 11:27:21

That's okay Bill... I didn't have to answer the questions =P jk lol

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-31 21:32:27

Eventually, they will come up for sale.... but, of course, after those issues are published!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-31 21:29:02

Wanted to thank Dadsilver and MamaSilver for their time tonight (and putting up with a barrage of my questions, coming at them rapid-fire style). Kris- please note that I would be interested in purchasing those Silverwolf Grips scripts/plots you mentioned you found today. Either the actual papers, or if you were to print and sell copies so more people could see 'em...

~Bill C

How ironic... Kris and I were just talking about continuing the bulletins as freebies for some members lol

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-31 20:44:00

Nice. My idea would be a Silver Wolf Bulletin #11 (to start) mailed out with orders. It could contain info on the comic continuations when there's enough info to gather... Just a thought for down the road. Pinnacles with the wolf logo might be cool too...

~iggy

hl

2015-01-31 20:21:17

Before you guys go, I have been talking to Kris about creating some special items (Freebies) for good/active community members. Would this fun to you guys? (Kind like club items.)

~MommaSilver

hl

No worries Ninja... You are obviously very excited about that and Kris is very happy to address that too (*Whisper* and what novels they turn into *Whisper*).

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-31 20:17:04

My apologies for my first question as it was off topic and I did not really realize this until after I submitted it. You caught it and prevented it from being posted though so no harm done I guess.

LOL @ Bill =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-31 18:30:43

Hey Everyone! Are you ready for the interview in half an hour? Questions ready?... How about you Kris?

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-31 11:43:20

We will put some up every week for awhile. I am not crazy about dumping everything onto the site all at once. That'd be a lot of work on many, many levels. And, yes, that's the auto listing I am polishing off, now.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-31 11:38:39

Kris- Sounds great about the portfolio, thanks! On another note: auto-listing items sounds like a great idea. I like the thought of all the new stuff going up for sale at the same time (if that's what you meant), as then all the buyers will really have to focus on their top wants first. I have to say I was extremely excited to see the original art go up last night. Some nice stuff was posted, and I know sooner or later some of my wanted images may likely pop up.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-31 09:41:15

No nervousness required, Bill. We realized we had sent only one and pulled another for you. It'll be sent immediately. We apologize for the mix up.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-31 08:11:27

Oops...I see you meant the Silverwolf Edge #2. I have several copies of that one as well. I meant Edge #3 that was serialized in GMC Action #s 6-9.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-01-31 08:09:03

Edge # 12, not #2. I have several copies of Edge #2 (GMC). If you can't legally publish it (or any other formerly unpublished books like Crimson Cougar #2 etc.) then I understand.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-01-31 07:57:37

Kris- I'm missing a Grips portfolio #3 from my order. I'm a bit nervous as I know they are pretty hard to come by. I ordered two, I hope my other copy is still laying around somewhere. After I bought them I saw more were still available for several minutes, so I figured I was good. I did get the other things I ordered. Thanks

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-31 01:04:55

If anything is unpublished then there are legal factors I have to work with before publishing before publishing. However, in the case of SWC Edge #2, that book has been published. Check the Silver Wolf Comics section.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-31 00:55:15

PLEASE, if you do happen to come across ANY 'preview' versions of as yet unpublished GMC books (i.e. Edge #12) then I hope you will please try to print up a limited run of (say 30 or so) the book(s)so that all can obtain a copy (besides whomever shells out the $50-$80 for the actual preview ashcan). Along these same lines is there any chance of us seeing a proper copy of Nightmaster #2, Edge #2, Grips #6 etc. from SW? I know about and have the GMC Action anthology run.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-01-30 21:08:13

Kris is adding the last little thing of the night. He has to do a little extra with it but he is almost done. I hope everyone enjoys everything tonight! =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-30 20:49:14

Good question. We may run across it going through artwork and production envelopes. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-30 20:45:50

I apologize if this may have been asked in the last weeks (can't remember exactly at this point)- do you know offhand if you have a pre-release of (the unpublished) Edge #12?

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-30 20:32:59

Yep! We got it! Thanx =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-30 20:31:51

Special side note... Although we can not currently find any of the Edge #9s we do, however, have original artwork and a pre-release of #9 =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-30 20:30:20

~MommaSilver

2015-01-30 20:20:10

Under your new GMC art listings you have Juan Muro wrongly credited with Pete Ayala's artwork. Ayala did the interiors and covers for most of the non-Muro Grips books. Got my copy of the 'GMC Submissions' book today. Thanks for that.

~MommaSilver

2015-01-30 20:04:10

Kris, I'll pay extra on the shipping for the art. Just want to be sure it's between cardboard or such to avoid bending. Just let me know.

~Moby's!

2015-01-30 18:37:08

Sounds cool. Thanks Kris.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-30 18:29:35

[To Bill and Others] A few pieces of various interior comic page art, some more pre-release comics, a previously out of stock comic, an out of stock portfolio, a special item we found 1 of. There will be more next week, too, though. And, no new cart.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-30 18:18:44

Kris- for those of us 3 hours ahead (EST) and are trying to determine if we should go to work in the morning on little sleep or not (lol), can you give a general heads up on what kind of art (if any) was making it to the website tonight?

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-28 16:19:51

Got my big order in the mail today, looks great. Thanks for merging the 3 orders into one. Very excited to receive the portfolios next! I'd say after that, we're all caught up- but there will likely be things uploaded this week that will be too tempting to resist (?)

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-26 21:00:38

A conversation blog sounds great- I'll feel a little less guilty for asking so many questions, ha. I did see the update on Edge #8- I do have a copy or two in the collection. Love the cover to that book.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-26 20:54:31

I'll be setting up a conversation blog just to answer questions about preset topics later. One of the first will be about Comic Continuations. More on that later, though. Hey, did you see the info about Edge #8?

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-26 20:51:19

Thanks for clearing up the comic continuations for me, Kris- they sound very cool.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-26 11:20:01

Also, sorry about the multiple order thing. I was in a hurry to make sure I got one of the 'GMC Submissions' books and later realized a needed a few other things.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-01-26 11:11:12

Oopse, my apologies about the multiple blog entries. Apparently my browser was not refreshing the page before and I thought there was some error.

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-01-26 10:58:51

Grips #5 (SW) was indeed printed (only about two copies IIRC were not destroyed) and taken from the printers' by Tim Vigil and given to friends of his. One of these copies was advertised as 'For Sale' in an issue of Comics Buyers Guide in the late 1980s, for $5,000 (which bugged Vigil since he "Told the guy not to sell it but I guess if he figured he could get $5,000 for it...").

~Skinny Ninja

hl

2015-01-25 22:07:09

[TO BILL] Actually, I have a number of stories for Grips and the gang that not only have to be wrapped up, but carefully written. I will not shortchange the stories and, in fact, will be doing numerous issues for some of the titles. It turns out that one comic-sized, all-text continuation will be about the equivalent of TWO comic book issues. More on all that later!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-25 22:02:29

Welcome to our community, Skinny Ninja!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-25 15:30:47

Kris- If I'm reading the site right, your unfinished stories from the comics will be completed in all text comic continuations, one issue per title? So for example the story from the Silverwolf Grips book will be wrapped up in one comic sized (but all text) issue, the GMC Grips book will have its story wrapped up in another, etc? I may be able to assist in getting some pro quality art for one or two covers if you like, if you were planning to go with a new image on each cover.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-25 13:58:36

No, they were not released, but it is a project I would enjoy releasing at a later date.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-25 10:54:06

Were the Secret Files of SOURCE books ever printed? If so, will they eventually be made available to purchase? Thanks!

~OJ

hl

2015-01-24 17:52:40

Kris- that makes sense about the art (for potential sale), sounds like you have lots to sort through and there are only so many hours in a day!

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-24 16:53:03

[To Moby's] We are not planning to do any digital comics in the foreseeable future. Thank you very much for your offer to help, however!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-24 16:49:34

[To Bill] We haven't chosen which art, yet. Turns out we're moving the complete stored product from the nearest of the storage facilities to us this week, so we're going to be completely pressed for time. I am not certain which pieces I will put on, but as soon as I get the time, I'll be looking through the artwork and choosing.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-24 16:43:29

If you have all the art for an unreleased book, or even just a 'pre-release' proof of something that never made release, it would be great if you could make digital comics available of those for the masses. I can help you make them if need be. This way, all the fans could see 'what could have been' and not just someone who buys the ashcan, or a single page or two of art. There are also online sources that could allow a single issue printing for $5 an issue.

~Moby's!

I can totally understand if you would rather let it be a surprise for Friday, but is there any way you might let slip some of the artists or titles on the original art that may be listed at the end of next week?

Your order with the Dark Assassin #8 refunded shipped yesterday. That was a larger box and had to be repacked. Yours and another. Was an interesting weekend last week. A little crazy, too! Was smoother this week. Only one items was duplicated in orders. We tried to stay on top of things, but one item slipped through. Next week, new cart system (hopefully).

I did get a shipped message email from paypal for 7 books (which I actually received today and didn't include in that 31 books number). No other messages from paypal- but if the books already shipped then that's fantastic! Sounds good to me

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-23 22:13:30

Those have already been sent and a refund sent for a missing item. I'll check on the shipping funds issues. Thank you for bringing that to our attention. You should have had a "Shipped Message" email through Paypal.

hl

One last question for the night- I should have 31 books coming (mostly comics, but some magazine size) and two portfolios. I purchased them over the past several or so days in I believe 4 different shipments. Instead of getting a refund on shipping x 3 (plus for the Edge #9 that wasn't in stock), can I just put those funds towards an upgraded shipping speed?

Got ya. So did I miss out on that copy of "GMB So You Want to Publish a Comic Book?" that was in the cart? No biggie if I lost out.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-23 20:37:13

We are working on a custom cart system so that items can be in your cart and removed from inventory at that point. It should be done by next week. Right now we are pulling inventory off as quick as we can after receiving orders. We will take care of shipping issues. We will take care of you guys! =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-23 20:30:19

On a night like tonight when a number of items are going up over time- do we have the ability to "reserve" things in our cart so one shipping fee can be had, or do I need to purchase things immediately and sort out shipping refunds later?

We will be addressing that subject issue by issue in the future. Right now, we are focusing on re-organizing everything which is why so many esoteric items are being put onto the website. As time passes, I think you will be happy with how things progress in every aspect of the company.

2015-01-20 03:24:10

Another long day and I see tomorrow being the same way. I'll get some of the old Silver Wolf RPGs on and see what I can do about some of the special items related to them as well. Of course, I still have plenty of programming to do. I am looking at a change in the cart system. I like what we have, but it's not integrated into our inventory system at all. So, I am rewriting it to take care of that. That'll mean I have to put other site aspects off for a bit, but it will be worth it.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-19 22:33:23

Hey, we even have a few of the older than dirt Silver Enterprise 'Space Knights of Quadrant Alpha' rpg books that will be put on.... There is something very special about them.... it includes a new evolution......

~Dadsilver

The older SW and GMC Games will be going on this week.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-19 21:09:05

I agree with Iggy, more unusual company items plus SW Bulletins, SW Portfolios and the novelettes. Maybe the SW games too. Excited to see what you'll post next. Also looking forward to the new comic continuations.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-19 20:03:32

Kris- yes, there's definitely some specific items I'd love for you to keep an eye out for- all the Grips novelettes, for one. Been waiting for a long time to read these (check out my letters printed in Edge 3, Grips 1, and Dark Assassin 2 [all GMC versions] for proof!). There are other things I'd love to have you keep an eye out for, but was hoping to not make every want public knowledge :)

2015-01-19 18:01:21

We're heading in this week.... I have stacks of stuff to look through. I did find the original scripts/layouts for 'Arena'. Not sure what to do with them, but I suspect that later I will put those up for a pretty penny. This week might be very fruitful. We shall see!

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-19 00:13:41

Dang! I refreshed the site for hours in hopes of getting the SW Bulletin #8. I know you said you've only been able to find one copy but curious if you thought there might be more in one of the other storage units. Also, great new (actually old) items tonight!

~OJ

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-18 21:16:35

~Moby's!

~Dadsilver

2015-01-18 20:37:24

[To Bill] Sure. I'll refund the shipping value it automatically charges you from your next order.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-18 20:06:24

Kris- outside of the first order I placed (and was already shipped), I should have another 4 books on the way at some point. If those aren't packed yet, can I add another 4 or so books to that shipment and combine shipping?

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-18 17:52:53

Hey, hey, everyone! We're baaaaackkk! And, we found some good stuff! Missed a lot though. I know there are portfolios there that we couldn't get to, but we have some interesting things as well! Plus..... we can put the 'Dark Assassin & Chance' issue #9 question to rest once and for all! See the news!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-18 01:59:57

Well, I finished putting on the 'Avacyn Restored' uncommons. So... it is off to bed with me. I will be back on tomorrow to put on more. Sweet nightmares! =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-17 23:01:24

So, as Kris said before, I am hustling to get our stock of MTG on and for sale in our 'From the Comic Shop' portion of the website. Currently, I have all of our 'Born of the Gods' uncommons on and will have 'Avacyn Restored' uncommons on next. I will keep you all updated. =)

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-17 17:45:21

Soon after that, I saw a few copies at a booth at a convention. Made a trade and got them for myself.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 17:41:22

In your response about the Grips #5 (SW) rumor you said you were surprised that Fantastic Fables #2 was published. Just curious how you found out that it actually existed.

~OJ

hl

2015-01-17 16:42:16

Understandable that it's low priority as it's probably not as easy to list as the comics and other products. Wishful thinking on my part as I would enjoy owning something Vigil Grips related (if anything is out there).

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-17 16:37:29

Truth is, it's low priority right now, but I have plenty that I can list, though. I still have to organize it. I have had to put it off for over a year while working on this large project. Even putting this website up has had to be squeezed in.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 16:33:34

Kris- do you have any rough idea on when you might plan to list some GMC/Silverwolf original art?

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-17 13:54:45

[To Bill] Refunded. Sorry about that.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 13:53:31

We will be making a storage run to our nearer storage on Sunday. I will be pushing to make sure we bring portfolios and some more esoteric items too. I hope you all enjoy!

~MommaSilver

hl

2015-01-17 13:49:06

Oh, Dark Assassin & Chance #9 do exist. I had some... Not sure if I still have some in the nearer storage facility, but I believe I do in the southern one.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 13:47:58

Kris- OK, $ for the Edge #9 sent. That's 5 books bought in 3 payments over the last 15 hours, sorry if I'm making it harder for you to track- I just want to make sure I order the items before they're gone :)

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-17 13:44:06

Ah, lovely.... I was thinking GMC Action #9 with Edge... The bright, blood-spattered cover. I was just looking at it last night as I filtered through the display stock. It left an impression on me... and I mis-remembered it as Edge #9. Edge #8 and #9 are out of stock here. We're looking for them tomorrow in the nearer storage and if not here, have to go to the storage in southern California to bring stock up where I know I have issues of them.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 13:10:51

Yeah, it looks pretty nice. It was an inside wall display away from windows (I hate the fading effect - been there, done that). If you do want it, check the cost and make a separate Paypal payment for that value only as you already have an order pending.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 12:57:08

Kris- as long as the Edge #9 display copy isn't faded from the light or covered in dust- I'll take it, heh. Also- yes, I saw the checklists that were recently posted- those are a great reference. I did notice Dark Assassin and Chance #9 isn't listed- I don't have a copy myself but have seen them online (the cover has a man assaulting a woman as the heads of DA and Chance are above in the air, angrily looking down). Now that I mention it, if you find a copy of that I'd likely be interested!

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-17 12:38:05

[To Bill] Did you notice the new checklists link below the news blog to the right?

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 12:35:56

My Edge #9s are at the end of their count. I am heading to our nearest storage tomorrow and hope to return by tomorrow night with portfolios and some other stock. I will see what we have! Edge #9.... I have a display copy that I think is in great shape. I can pull it as the display is now unused. As for want lists.... Hmmm.... That is a real possibility. Personal emails can be problematic, however. We have thought that through although, with community members we have some ideas. :)

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 12:24:36

Much appreciated- just bought one. Will you at some point have a contact button for private messages, and also do you plan to take want lists eventually? In case something like a nicer copy of Edge (GMC) #9 pops up in storage, as I could likely use one. Thanks!

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-17 11:35:37

There you go, they're on.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 11:32:43

Yes, I do. I have two available, but they are a little scuffed on the edge (bottom of the box copies) though otherwise nice. I will put them on.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 11:01:47

Kris- have you run across any copies of the Silverwolf Comics Index (published by GMC) which had the Silverwolf logo across the cover and contained print run info, etc on the inside? I would like to get a copy if ever available.

~Bill C

hl

2015-01-17 01:34:38

As far as collecting.... I have a shop full of comics. I have plenty to read. I'll be putting on all the comics on the 'From the Comic Shop' part of this site. I am done having shops. They're not nearly as much fun as they once were. So, I'll be putting on lots and lots of comics. I even have a complete collection of 'New Mutants' - yes, including #98 which might be worth having graded by the big boys. It's a sharp copy.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 01:30:19

Actually, I was a huge Harvey Comics fan. Loved 'em! However, what got me going was 'Amazing Spiderman' #189 and #190 with Man-Wolf in them. They got me interested and I started collecting comics. 'Heavy Metal', too had a huge influence on me. I collect odd things, now. I have an 'All-Flash Quarterly' #1 and some other forties stuff that just makes me happy to have them including the first few issues of 'Felix the Cat.' Who doesn't love that cat?!!!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 01:22:06

Hey Kris, yes I have a question for you... What comics were you into as a youngster that inspired you to create yours later on. Do you still read any? If not, when did you quit? Do you have a collection? Jim (iggy)

~iggy

hl

2015-01-17 00:55:35

Oh, yes..... I have them in a nearby storage. We're headed there this weekend to pick up a lot of stock... Probably Sunday. I may put some of the product on Sunday night. It should be a fun day!

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-17 00:50:49

~OJ

hl

2015-01-17 00:12:42

I will be on awhile if anyone has any questions for me. We are working on product for the site, Silver Wolf and Comic Shop merchandise. My wife is knees deep in MTG, Born of the Gods and I am coding the site... working on printable product lists right now.

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-16 23:33:21

~Dadsilver

hl

2015-01-16 23:03:47

It is possible that I have more in one of the two remaining storage units, but I don't recall any. I have put both of them on. They are still sealed and ready to ship.

Excited you're back too! Looking forward to the comic continuations and other new product. Don't mean to ask so many questions but I was curious how many novelettes were produced. I have Grips: Future Tense #1-3 (reprints). Were there additional Grips issues printed? Did you do other series as novelettes? Will you be selling first print copies on your website? I'm eager to complete my Silver Wolf/GMC collection and you're the best source to do that. Thanks for your time!

I read online a few years ago that Grips #5 (Silver Wolf) was printed but never distributed similar to what happened with Fantastic Fables #2. I asked Tim Vigil about it a couple of years ago but he said it was never printed as Grips #5 but only as GMC Action #5. Any truth to the rumor that there are copies of Grips #5 out there? Thanks!

Assassin Force #1 Certified Set (Limited to 300), 8 Books, is Now Available in the Silver Wolf Comics Section!!!

From the Comic Shop!

Website Under a Serious Overhaul. Updates are Bound to Abound!!!

Silver Wolf and What We Do:

I have had the great opportunity to write and produce comic books. Though I will not be doing so in the same manner as I have in the past, I will produce comic continuations to continue telling those stories and bringing them to a close. This includes all comics, both from the Silver Wolf Comics line and the Greater Mercury Comics line. Unfortunately, I cannot do so with the Venusian Press comics as they are not mine to work on. Still, I may have to take a look at what's been going on with those titles and associated story tellers. Finishing those projects allows me time to continue, complete, and edit the novels I have written, then preparing them for publication. Many of you are aware of the 'Vampyre Empyre' and 'Last Adventurer' novels. There are many, many more, of course. With the help of my wife, Gloria, all will be completed and produced, getting all of my projects out as I have always planned. This last year, however, we have put most of our time into the Role Playing Game books, bringing that project to it's full potential. This is a special aspect of my creative life, allowing me to be interactive with my creations. Well, that and I love a good role playing game! There are other aspects I wish to address as well, including the Customizable Card Game projects I have worked on including the 'Terror' set of which I have an associated novel completed. The 'Terror' game fulfilled my desire for an empire building game. I enjoy the game and enjoy producing the rest of the cards, even if they are on a limited basis. Whatever develops along those lines, we'll post here.

Current News!

(Scroll For All of the News)

Most of you are aware that we have produced comics in the past. Well, that is very true. We produced the Silver Wolf Bulletins in 1985 and 1986 and most of those are still available on this site. Soon thereafter, we began producing comics under the Silver Wolf logo. About forty books later, we had to take a break. Many distributors were happy to take our products and sell them, but paying us for the product was-for many-not something they intended to do. But, my creative process continued none-the-less. I continued publishing under the Greater Mercury banner and even helped a few other folks get their products published under the Venusian Press logo. That was fun and games and it led to what's coming next. Still, I often ordered a little more of the product than I had pre-ordered. This enabled me to have something of a back stock for mail orders. However, in some cases, I went through those extra issues quickly. In other cases, I ordered far more extra copies than I sold and still have some available in large quantities.

Silver Wolf Comics, Assassin Force #1 Signed and Numbered, Limited Set!

Assassin Force #1 Certificated, Signed and Limited Set of All Eight Comics!

LIMITED TO 300 SETS! Yes! All eight books, collected, each one signed and numbered on the cover. This set includes all original monochrome covers. And, this set comes with a certificate of authenticity which is numbered corresponding to the eight numbered comics! This does include a numbered edition of Assassin Force #1 Nightmaster that is separate from the monochrome signed and limited edition (both this set and the single monochrome edition of Assassin Force #1 Nightmaster are available separately). It is important to note that we will be releasing a corresponding cover portfolio collection in the very near future that corresponds with this collection. For those who purchase any of these Assassin Force sets, we will be holding the corresponding numbered portfolios aside so that collectors can put both sets together if they wish.

Yes, comic continuations are how I am finishing off all my comic stories. There are many stories yet to complete, but doing so will be a labor of love. Each comic continuation will contain two chapters each and will be comic book size. This way, they will fit right in with your original collection of our books. 'Lunch Tales'-for those of you who have been following those-were designed for a quick read of a lunch-sized tale. Each 'Lunch Tale' has been designed to be about twelve percent the size of a normal novel (That would be about one chapter of my normal novels or anywhere from eight to twelve thousand words). I made a bunch of the 'Lunch Tales', even made 'Lunch Tale' sized anthologies. The tales vary, but include fantasy, science-fiction, romance, horror, western, classic fiction, and more.

"Silver Quill Magazines"

(Interview Complete)

I wrote up a couple anthology magazines, but had to wait on the production of those for awhile. The time for them was not quite right. However, I am currently working on an anthology magazine that will be ready soon.... Very soon. And novels? "Oh, bother!" as the Pooh bear would say. I have a lot to have edited, some to complete, and some to rewrite. The vampyres chomp at their bits even now! The Martin Kane (Grips), Last Adventurer, and Character Mutiny novels are nearly ready to go though they will take time to edit and refine. There are-and will be more-Role Playing Games. Many of you know that we are working hard on those projects. The updates to 'Holocaustic Dungeons' and 'Arena' await! Some of the original versions still exist and will be made available on this site. Keep your eyes peeled... They will be here shortly! There are a couple other family games out. You may have played 'Lazer Beamz' or 'Hardware Wars' and there are more to come. Of course, there is the fun stuff. Coffee Mugs, T-Shirts, and so on. We have the equipment and will produce our product in limited quantities. We do not want to be so invested in each product that it bankrupts us. That's bad business for us and the Silver Wolf community. More later, of course.
